Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) has five car parks in total. So whether you’re nipping away for a long weekend and looking for the convenience of valet parking, or travelling for two weeks on business and looking for cheap long-stay parking, you can rest assured that your car will be safe and secure whichever option you go for.

Types of parking at Liverpool Airport

The car park you use at Liverpool airport will depend on your budget, when you are travelling and how convenient the location of each is for your party. Generally speaking, the best prices for parking at Liverpool Airport are to be found by booking well in advance. The closer the car park is to the terminal building, the more expensive the rates per hour or day are likely to be.

Liverpool Airport Long Stay Parking

If your trip involves being away for more than a few days, the most cost-effective option is to leave your car in the long-stay car park. This car park is approximately a 4-5 minute walk from the terminal building.

You simply park your car in an available space, make sure you have all your luggage and travel documents, and walk a short distance to the terminal.

Long-stay parking at LPL is pre-bookable, or alternatively, you can just drive up on the day of travel. The drive-up gate prices for long-stay parking start at £38 per day, however savings of up to 70% are available if you book in advance.

The long-stay car park is completely secure. Accredited with ParkMark, it features:

  • Secure perimeter fencing
  • 24 hr CCTV security cameras
  • A well-lit parking area
  • Regular patrols by security teams

Benefits of long-stay parking at LPL

The long-stay car park is the cheapest of all parking options at LPL. Pre-booking secures the cheapest rate possible for your stay. As you keep your own keys, you can have peace of mind that your car will not be moved while you are away.

The long-stay car park has ANPR cameras (automatic number plate recognition) for quick and easy entry and exit, and you will not have to use a shuttle bus service as the car park is only a short walk from the terminal.

Short Stay Parking

The short-stay parking is in the same building as the multi-storey car park at Liverpool Airport.

It is the recommended car park if you are arriving to pick up, or drop off passengers and only intend to stay a short time at the airport. The short-stay car park is right opposite the airport terminal.

After parking your car, you can walk to the terminal which takes approximately one minute.

Rates for the short stay car park start at £6 for 40 minutes. If you intend to stay for more than a day, it might be worth considering the long stay car park, which could save you money.

Family Fast Track Parking

For families travelling with small children, even unloading the car and getting to the terminal can make tensions rise. Fast Track Parking at LPL offers a hassle-free solution.

Wider than average parking bays allow more room to manoeuvre child seats, and luggage and unpack the car. The Fast Track parking is as close to the terminal as possible, with a covered walkway taking families to the dedicated Fast Track terminal entrance.

With Family Fast Track parking, up to 4 passes are included which allow your party to access the Fast Track security lanes. This can save valuable time once at the airport, allowing you to relax and get to your flight stress-free. Additional Fast Track security passes can be purchased for £4 each for larger families.

Family Fast Track parking must be pre-booked.
