Manchester Airport Parking

Manchester Airport serves a huge number of passengers from right across the north of England, Wales and midlands. As you would expect from such a large airport, there is a wide range of airport parking available to choose from to suit every budget.

Finding a deal on parking at Manchester airport doesn’t need to be a headache. Whether you’re jetting off on a family holiday and looking for parking that won’t break the bank, or nipping away for a few days on business and looking for meet and greet parking to speed things up, Manchester Airport has the right parking option for you.

Types of parking at Manchester Airport

Manchester airport has three separate terminal buildings, so when choosing your parking you will need to know where you will be departing from.

The airport itself has multiple car parks, serving both short and long term stays, and is available to pre-book whether you need a week or just a few hours. All parking on site is accredited with ParkMark, so you can leave your car with complete peace of mind that it will be kept safe and secure while you are away.

It’s a good idea to check directions to your chosen car park before you set off, as although the car parks are well signposted, the airport complex is very large.

Meet and Greet parking

For busy travellers who want a hassle-free experience arriving at the airport for a flight, meet and greet parking at Manchester Airport is a great choice. This service is available to pre-book only, so you’ll need to be organised in advance to take advantage.

On arrival at the airport, you pull into a sheltered area, where your car is automatically inspected and ANPR cameras identify your vehicle.

Leave your car and unpack your luggage after parking in one of the Meet and Greet lanes, then drop your keys with the reception area. From here, it’s a short 3-minute walk to the terminals.

It’s worth noting there is a height restriction in place, so if your vehicle exceeds 2metres (6ft 6in) you won’t be able to use this service.

Mid Stay Parking

For shorter trips or weekend breaks, Manchester Airport offers Mid Stay car parking. The Mid Stay car parks are located within the airport grounds and are only available to use with a booking.

On arrival, simply follow the signs to the Mid Stay parking, where your car will be recognised by ANPR cameras. After parking your car, there is no waiting around for a transfer coach, simply walk the short distance to the terminal.

The walk takes between 3 and 10 minutes, depending on whether you’re travelling from Terminal 1, 2 or 3.

Short Stay parking

For shorter trips and weekends away, Short Stay parking at Manchester Airport couldn’t be easier.

All of the short stay car parks are within easy walking distance from the check-in areas at all terminals, so you can save time when you arrive at the airport.

Meet and Greet Plus

For added convenience, Manchester Airport also offers the Meet and Greet Plus service. With this package, you’ll also receive up to two Fast Track security passes, allowing you to bypass any queues and get to the departure lounges even faster. This package must also be pre-booked.

Jet Parks

If you’re trying to find the cheapest parking at Manchester Airport, JetParks parking is the best value. The minimum stay in the JetParks car park is 3 days. It is only available through pre-booking but can save you money on your airport parking if you plan ahead.

The car park offers a free shuttle bus transfer to the terminals, which takes around 15 minutes and runs 24 hours a day. On your return, simply hop on the shuttle back to your car.

Multi-Storey car parks

For those who prefer to park their cars undercover, Manchester Airport has Multi-Storey parking close to all the terminals. There is limited availability in these car parks, so if this is the parking you choose it’s advisable to book in advance. The T2 east and T1 Multi-Storey car parks are ONLY available if you pre-book.

The Multi-Storey car parks are between 1-5 minutes walk from the nearest terminal. A free shuttle bus is also available for other terminals.

Drop and Go

Similar to Meet and Greet parking, Drop and Go at Manchester is within easy reach of all three terminals. It’s closest to Terminal 3, which is a short walk from the Drop and Go area.

If you’re travelling from T1 or T2, there is a complimentary shuttle.
